سه‌گانه تاریک شخصیت در افراد مجرم و غیر مجرم: خودشیفتگی، ماکیاولیسم و جامعه‌ستیزی

Abstract:
Aim and background: We can refer to the dark Triad of personality (narcissism, Machiavellianism and Psychopathy) within annoying unhealthy personalities in psychology field. First, this research, aimed at introducing the Triad of personality issue to scientific community of psychology, and second, examining and comparison of this traits among convict and. Method and material: This study was causal-comparitive research. The study conducted on a sample including 85 male prisoners from Urmia Prison and 85 non-prisoners. Participants were matched demographically. Researcher-made questionnaire for demographic information, narcissistic personality inquiry (NPI) , Machiavellianism scale and self-rating psychopathy third version were tools of this research. Data were analyzed by multivariate variance analysis (MANOVA). Results: The findings showed that the differences between two groups were significant for narcissism, and Psychopathy (P > .005) and Machiavellianism (P > .001) Conclusion: The results showed that, the two groups have significant differences in dark triad of personality. According to limitation of participant of this research, it suggested that future research consider larger groups, woman, and different contexts and separate crimes.
